One person will place a cache somewhere and provide the geographical coordinates to others.  The GeoCaching website has a map and coordinates for thousands of caches hidden around the world.  Some caches are easy to get to while others require a bit of work. When you find the cache, you can take a look at what is inside, write a little note and place everything back for the next person.

When logging onto the Geocaching website, you might be surprised to see how close some caches might be to you.  Some caches are in the city center while others are in parks or forests. You never know what you are going to see in the cache which makes this a great way to get out and about while adding some excitement to your hobby.
